Pei was initiated into working with bees in 2013 when she created Dragonfly Village, one of the first retreat centres in Ubud. The bees quickly made Dragonfly their home and Pei installed beehives to help them thrive. Sharing her home with bees impacted Pei powerfully and she is now working to materialise a new vision: creating a healing sanctuary in the north of Bali. Here she will weave western Permaculture with Balinese Tri Hita Karana of living in harmony with Gods, with other fellow humans and with nature, the three causes of happiness and well-being. Pei centralises the integrity of listening to the land and feeling what wants to come through in all her projects ensuring this is the foundation to BeeLife.
