‘Living with Bees’ Presentation Gili Air Lombok

In early November, during a visit to Gili Air Lombok, Leanne was invited to offer a ‘Living with Bees’ Presentation to the resident Permaculture Community of Gili Air. After 9 months co-habiting with a number of different colonies Leanne compiled a slide show of her photographic memoirs and spoke for 1 and a half hours sharing her experience, lessons and how this gift had nourished and transformed her. This inspired the community to plant the recommended seeds to full their gardens with bee food and take the next step of inviting Yan, our Bali Bee Man, out for weekend workshop on Beginners Bee-Keeping and the art of offering an invitation for a wild swarm to come and stay with them.
