‘Basic Bee Keeping’ Workshop Gili Air Continues…

On December 16th, Yan went back to Gili Air to give a workshop on basic beekeeping theory. Many adults and children eagerly participated even learning how to make swarm traps. Though these are less like traps and closer to bait since the bees can choose to move in (or not) and can choose to move back out (or not). A baited hive box is made as attractive as possible for a swarm to move into.
