Environmental Education Project 2022 – Initiation of relationship with Green School

We are developing sustaining and inspiring relationships with local communities and projects; one of these is The Green School Bali.

 

The Green school is not just a school but a global movement raising changemakers. Its wall-less, nature immersed campus facilitates a ‘living’ curriculum educating sustainability through community-integrated, entrepreneurial learning, in a natural environment. Like Bee Life Global, The Green School champions a new model of education and together we intend to bring the bee into the class room.

Thanks to Bee Life Global, The Green School now has 5 bee hives inside the class room. The students are already learning how to live harmoniously alongside the bee and their hive; observing how the bee community functions. Yan is a walking encyclopedia concerning bees: he has been visiting the Green School regularly sharing his knowledge accompanied by practical hands on experience with the children and their parents. This interaction is fundamental to the core values of Bee Life Global: localized direct action that ripples out to have a global impact.
